Called to Minister
Every Christian is called to minister. This is our service to the body of Jesus Christ. Each member of the body of Christ offers value with their respective giftings.
First Corinthians 12-14 and Romans 12 reveal how God has gifted every believer to function in the body of Christ.
Called to Ministry
Your vocation has a direct ministerial component to it. You do not have to meet 1 Timothy 3 qualifications, or have to be ordained.
Children’s ministry, ministry and church administration, teacher at a Christian school, church faculty and staff. This is serving the church and the Kingdom of God in ministry.
Called to the Ministry
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-12)
The ministry is defined in its own category in Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9. These are specific offices and functions that God calls and ordains to lead the church.
