Who is the gospel of Jesus Christ for? Is it only for those with large bank accounts? Is it only for the most popular? Is it only for the beautiful? Is it only for those who have it all together? Is it only for the winners? Is it only for the smartest among us? Is it only for the most educated? Is it only for the happy and joyful?

Who is the gospel of Jesus Christ for? Is it only for the poor? Is it only for the derelict? Is it only for the unattractive? Is it only for those who are falling apart? Is it only for the losers? Is it only for the ignorant? Is it only for illiterate? Is it only for depressed and lonely?

The prophet Isaiah answers and says, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Isa. 55:1).

The gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone! Everyone who thirsts for salvation, and hungers for righteousness can come and partake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It’s for the rich and poor. It’s for the popular and unpopular. It’s for the beautiful and the unattractive. It’s for those who have it all together and for those who are falling apart. It’s for the winners and the losers. It’s for the educated and the illiterate. It’s for those who are happy and for those who are depressed.

All you have to do is: “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon” (Isa. 55:6-7)

So come! Come one and all! Come drink of the Fountain of Life, and feast upon the Bread of Life, which is Jesus Christ!
